What is the difference between a dressing and a plaster?

A dressing has adhesive on all edges of the dressing. They are useful to cover large wounds or wounds with stitches or staples that do not want you to have contact with the outside.

There are strips of different materials. Fabric strips adhere more strongly to the skin, while plastic strips are water resistant but stick less to the skin. Many plasters include silver, natural antiseptic, in its composition.

We have several types of tape: cloth (adheres more to the skin) or paper for more sensitive skin.

The bandages can be elastic or gauze. The elastic bandages in turn can be adhered on themselves or simply grasped with a little of tape.

For the little ones we have an assortment of funny plasters with drawings, so they do not mind wearing plasters.
