The normal limit for ketone bodies in the blood of a person without diabetes is less than 0.6mmol / L. The doctor is the one who indicates the appropriate normal level of ketone bodies for the patient.

If the level of ketone bodies is between 0.6 and 1.5 mmol / L and the glucose is higher than 300mg / dl it could indicate a worrying health, you should consult your doctor.

If the level of ketone bodies is higher than 1.5 mmol / L and the glucose is higher than 300mg / dl, you should consult your doctor.
