Bioanacid has a local protective action, combining with the protective capability of mucus physiologically present on the gastric mucosa.

Bioanacid works thanks to the synergy between the different protective components:
the polysaccharide content of the extracts of Aloe gel, Altea and Barley forms a muco-adhesive film which adheres to the gastric mucosa, protecting both from mechanical stress (cushioning effect) and from chemical stress from hydrochloric acid and some food irritants;
the anti-oxidant properties of Liguflos® (freeze-dried extract obtained from Camomile flower petals) and from freeze dried Liquorice extract extend the protective action of Bioanacid by countering irritation due to free radicals
